Radio Icons and Labels Gone

Since my last update I have lost all the DAB radio icons and labels. The stations are still stored but I have no idea what they are. Click on one and the station tunes and the icon appears at the top but all the presets are just blank squares. Anyone else had that?

You can try rebooting Sync.

If that does not bring them back just click on each one to make it the current station and then store it again.

Hi Sean,

I have the same problems after updates that took all day and included the very useful radio volume control knob to adjust heating temperature, fan speed and heated front seats ,.

Were your radio problems caused by the same updates , I found it a bit bewildering at first as HOME button only takes you to 11 apps I could not even find my battery charging then I looked at the apps closer and found Radio, Phone, Navigation, Mels Phone, Apple Car Play, Android Auto, CHARGING, Tyre Pressure, Trip Energy, Owners Manual (and one I hate) being SKETCH which I never use and its always on my bottom bar no matter how many times I delete it.

Unfortunately I cannot help as have played with the many radio settings several times but cannot get the radio stations I require saved and there are many settings though when I first asked the main dealer service department how to find the charging they said they would need to show me in the vehicle, I did not fancy the hours drive for that so looked again and found just two presses required home button then charging got me to the familiar charging screen, assume I must have got the wrong person or they did not want to transfer me to some one who could help.

Sorry I doubt this will help you but the good news is this forum has many very knowable members and I'm sure we will get some good pointers.

Yes it was after that update. The USA had this update a while ago and maybe they have fixed it there.
I have given up speaking to Ford as there are multiple software problems and it has been back to the dealer 5 times. Every time they say that they can’t replicate the problem.
They are the worst customer service I have ever had to speak to. They just don’t care about sorting out problems. I am the problem not the car.
Apple Play crashes. Schedule charging on FP and in car does not always work. Door mirrors sometimes fold in on lock. Screen goes blank randomly. This is just another software problem that I can’t be bothered to take back for.

I was amongst the first to have a 21 Mach e in the UK the dealers were very weak on knowledge then and had a fair few gremlins with updates and they now seem a lot better and no problems this year until the latest update which was advised by Ford Mach E Customer Assist to try a cure a Ford Pass App problem I had,.

I highly recommend you contact Ford Mach E Customer Assist on 020 3564 4444 (option 6) as I found the Lady that helped me could not do too much to assist me as she followed up with regular phone calls and emails even assisting in a door stay fault I reported when my car went in for the updates and she will not close the case until I am happy.

Hi Iaika,

To select and store Radio Stations.
Select Home. Radio then along bar above Blocks use arrows <<left or right>> find the station you want then press and HOLD any of the Blocks below, you can also move or overwrite any the stored stations, just by selecting that station in your already stored stations then press and hold the station you want to replace if you also want to save the station you are replacing, just use the The select and save Radio Stations above method to select and move elsewhere, I would like to say Simples but it's not initially, but think this method works best at the moment without any frustration though someone may come up with a better option or an update may even make it more user friendly.

I love the new features on this update my Mustang just gets better and better just have to get used to some of them again. ?
