Radio presets resetting

I have actually figured out a way to restore the right presets. It seems that when I change profiles (via the seat preset buttons) if I don’t wait for it to finish, it retains the prior presets. When I notice the wrong presets I

• turn off the car
• change to another profile
• wait until the seat has stopped moving
• change it back to my preset
• wait until it has stopped moving
• wait another second for good measure
• then start the car

my theory is that starting the car interrupts the profile change process, and the radio presets is at the end of that process. Makes me wonder about the overall software integrity.

This happened twice in my first week or so of owning the car, then happened again today. It’s very frustrating!

Hmm. I'm a Tesla Model 3 owner (anxiously awaiting a build date of my 2023 MME Premium), and this issue isn't too far off what we deal with - radio stations that disappear; it sometimes never remembers the station you were listening to and resets to TuneIn (Sirius is regrettably not available on the model 3/Y). And then my presets all reset once. Sheesh. Ford, please - be better than Tesla!
