At times, when I initially start my 2021 Mack-E, the radio screen is washed-out. The icons only indicate the station ID within the normal image. Most of the time the washout eventually cycles to the normal display of station icons and images. It is as if it is in ultra daytime backlighting. I have noticed it more on cold mornings as the cycle-up is a bit slower in the cold (30s). Sometimes I change between screens thinking is needs to re-initialize - but most of the time the washout state remains thru the morning commute. The screen still functions - just stays in a washout state.

Thoughts?

Mine does this occasionally and I believe others have reported it as well. It‘s a known bug. Hopefully it gets fixed in a future update.

I just noticed this happening to my Mach E also. I thought it was due to the car's interior temp for it only seemed to happen after the car was exposed to the daylight (at times).

Any update to this thread? It is a software bug?
