Blank Radio Screen?!

Today I tried to change channels on the steering wheel and nothing happened. So I selected the radio tile and what comes up? Nothing! I have had the aggravating issue of it changing my presets since I bought the car almost two years ago (good job Ford!) But it has never done this. I have to say I am happy with the car, but increasingly pissed off by the user side of the software!!!

I had that happen once when it changed to the guest profile and wouldn’t change back while I was driving. When I stopped and restarted the car it worked normally.

Try rebooting the Sync system. On your steering wheel, hold the volume button down while pressing the right arrow (upper right button) for 10 seconds. This will reboot the Sync system and can be safely done while the car is running, stopped at a light. After the Ford logo displays, you can turn the volume back up and listen to the radio while it finishes loading.

This is my go-to after verifying I'm in the correct profile. I have to do this almost every time SiriusXM pushes an update and it gets stuck loading.
