Just had 2 days of constant rain in Fayetteville, NC. Opened the rear hatch today and as it was lifting , rain water streamed out from the grab handle cover , both interior light covers, the blank cover on the left side ( ? ) and the recessed latch bar. Anyone else ever seen this ? I truly love my '23 Premium and this is the first problem I've had since buying used in July 2024.

There are two common sources for water ingress into the lift gate: The tail lights (most common and easiest to figure out), and the rear sun shade attachment points. If the tail lights are loose at all (grab them and wiggle), they're your source of ingress. Easy to fix by popping the plastic off of the inside of the lift gate and tightening the nuts (I added a little blue Locktite to mine). The sun shade is a bit tougher to diagnose and to get to, but it it ain't the tail lights, it's the sun shade. ??

TY I'm having it done next week after stopping by my local Ford dealership for a quick look/see. The service department is now informed about the TSB 23-2360.

Turns out there is a TSB 23-2360 to allow me to fix it under warranty. The service tech says it's not the glass top **whew**

I'm really surprised the original owner didn't experience the problem.

Yeah, it's never the roof. It's almost always the tail lights. After that it's the mount points for the sun shade. ??
