I received the following email from FordPass at 5am yesterday when the car was parked. By the time I went out 6 hours later to use the car, PAAK worked fine, and my backup start passcode still works. The FP app does not have a corresponding message.

I called FP, and they said they'd had no other reports of this and had no clues as to the cause other than it being a glitch.

Anyone else get this?

Why is this so rare?
I assume because Ford's database of vehicles doesn't have very many of these kinds of "typos"?
The wrong alert sent to the wrong recipient for the wrong VIN ownership record in the database table?

The most perfectly indexed tables of data are still vulnerable to a human being fat fingering data entry.

Gotta be a VIN record error of some kind. Your email address is tagged to someone else's VIN? It would be interesting if your email address is also tagged to your VIN as well?
Intentionally use your backup password to start your car. Hopefully you get an email for that attempt as well.

I'm guessing a potential frustrating rabbit hole phone call would be the only hope of getting someone to look and find the error?

Hoo boy, there's more issues.

• Even with FP 5.0, the SOC info is stale, indicating wrong SOC & that the car is still charging.
• My keypad access code no longer works.
• I was able to use my backup start passcode to start the car, but never received an email verification (or message in FP app).

I called FP again, they're having the engineers look into it.
