When you are setting up PaaK (phone as a key) it should ask you to set up a password. Is that the process you are using?

As I recall, the requirements (length, numbers/letters/symbols) are on the screen. Once you enter it, you have 30 seconds to hit enter.

Mine has letters, numbers, and a symbol - StartTheDamnCar2022























That is not my passcode.

And the requirements are actually dynamic depending on the complexity of your password. For example, it will let you do all numbers, but then it will require it to be 10 digits. If you do a mix of numbers and letters, it will let it be shorter. I'm not sure I've ever seen another system work that way.

Yep, I may not have been clear enuf. We've NEVER been able to set up a backup passcode...No number of letter or number combination is accepted.....

Hmm. Interesting. Assuming then that you've tried to completely delete the PaaK setup and start from scratch, that is very strange.

So funny, I just tried using my passcode for the first time. No mas. But I think the one I saved in my phone is not the correct one (I think I have changed it). I had put my key in a faraday pouch and powered off my phone to force the passcode option (long story). I'm sure it works, I just have to reset and enter the correct code.

Does the pw exist somewhere on the app? (I was trying to use my cell to start the car and it asked for the pw.)
