Rear trunk opened on its own

Mine opened in the garage at certain times of the year, feels like it’s shadows in the early morning.
Also had it do the open in the car park as I walked up to it with my hands full. I was very impressed at the service on this one occasion.

Once so far in about 1.5 years. No PAAK. I had just gotten out of my car to head into the store. I can't remember if I had yet hit lock (on the fob or on the door panel). But I heard a weird ding. Turned back. The frunk and the trunk were popped.

I've had my 2021 GT for almost 4 years, and this has been an issue from the beginning although it seems to happen less frequently now than years ago. I finally started backing my car into the garage so that if it happened it wouldn't open against the garage door and scratch the paint. Fortunately, it never happens when parked anywhere other than my garage. How often does it happen? In the first year probably once every 2-3 months. It last happened about 6 months ago and that was the first time in a long time - so it's definitely not as common as it once was.

Walked in to garage. Fob in car. phone? dunno. maybe pocket, maybe 30 feet away in house.. pushed button on passenger door. door & trunk opened simultaneously. trunk stopped when it hit the garage door. once. 2021 ER AWD.

also had the same thing happen a few days ago

My trunk opened once in my garage but I believe my phone was too close and I found my dog laying under the rear of the car. Fortunately I have an 8 ft. tall garage door so the liftgate didn't come close to hitting anything. I had a talk with my dog.
