Rear view camera looks sharp now after 1.7 update

My rear view camera looked like crap from the day one. It was blurry and washed out (after rain it was unusable). Two days ago it became sharp and bright (no car wash I received 1.7 update few weeks ago, so I am not sure what happened, but kudos to ford for fixing it

Maybe there was a film on the camera that finally fell off or was washed away.
