There is a squirter orifice under the sun shade. The hose from the reservoir travels along the upper side of the headliner into the lift gate. ??

Try using it and then go to the inside trunk area and see if you can smell or see washer fluid. Mine was spraying inside the plastic trim because the hose coupling inside was disconnected.

Might be a stupid question, but do you know how to use it?

Probably not the same situation as yours but I felt the same way for the first 4 months of trying to use my rear washer, it didn't seem to work. I was thinking "Hm, I wonder if it's another one of those features Ford removed? ". But then I searched and found the washer 'squirter', so I knew it existed. So then, while in the garage, I thought I'd try again and do some troubleshooting if necessary. Pushed the wiper arm forward and, in the quietness, I could hear the washer pump operating but still nothing from the rear washer. Kept it going and about 4 or 5 seconds later - voila! - the rear washer came to life and started working. Has worked properly since. I don't know if it was clogged somewhere or what, but for now I'm just happy it's working.

If the hose has gone dry, it takes about those 5 seconds or more for the pump to fill it. The hose travels more than the length of the car. ??
