Resetting sync 4

My screen froze yesterday after starting and I just pulled over and restarted the car and all was well but I wanted to know that if I had to use the buttons to reset sync, what would I lose if anything regarding my current settings?

thank you. right after I posted I did find in manual that you lose no data just doing a reset but you lose all if you are doing a master reset.
