SYNC 4 apps

Is there apps available for SYNC4 today?

I'm in Sweden and I only get a message that there is no apps available in my region. As a result of that I'm wondering if there is apps and if so if it's possible to change the region that SYNC think it's in to be able to install apps.

There are very few apps compatible with SYNC 4A. And truly, the experience with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay is likely much better than the AppLink experience.

Okay but there is apps.

What is it that determines the location of the cars AppStore? GPS could be one but if I travel to another country the app will still be available so it would be nice if there was a possibility to change it.

The country setting in the phone sets the app store plus the GPS location?

That’s interesting and easily changed. Anyone tried? Is there a list of available apps in different regions?

I installed the US version of the app and two apps showed up. What country are u in?

Yes I had it on my 2020 Mustang not 4a but the app link…..very limited not really useful, or at least for me.

The only apps I was able to activate on SYNC are FordPass, Radioplayer, Glympse, Cysco and Ford DashCam (as I have got one). But I noticed that they depend also on the smartphone and Android Auto version, with my new phone FordPass and Glympse don't work.
