My wife reported that after driving our 2021 MME yesterday with no issues, this morning the center display didn't seem to power up with the car. She heard the tones from touching the screen, just didn't see anything. She turned off the car and then back on again, but it made no difference. So she cycled the headlights which were in automatic, back to off, and then back to automatic. The display came back on. It's not clear if it was an update which created this condition, her touching the screen may have cleared any error messages. But the log didn't indicate we'd gotten an update.

I thought I'd share in case others enounter this new MME experience.

It’s because the 12V battery was low. Potentially due to the headlights staying on because of the headlight bug. I recommend you get your headlight switch replaced at your dealer to prevent this from happening again.

Thanks. I found the thread regarding the headlight bug. But what's confusing is that if the light switch was "on", wouldn't the lights also be on?
