There's a record feedback in the car where you can send Ford feedback. Whether Ford listens to it or not... Who knows but it's likely more direct than this forum, even though it is the best, IMHO.

I'm going to guess that's a non-starter from a regulatory/safety perspective. We've had cruise control for decades and I've never seen a vehicle implement a foot rest for your right foot.

I'm sure they felt that way about self driving cars.

I can't imagine why this would be necessary, and I'm sure it's illegal for safety reasons.

This request goes right up there with the "put the dang old speedometer in the center" crowd.

Driver. Long distance I'd like a rest for my right foot like my left.
Sorry, no car has this and it’s honestly a bad idea. If you put a right foot dead pedal in the optimum location, now you have to hold your foot to the left to use the accelerator, which would get tiring really quick if you don’t use cruise control. Brake pedal would now be extremely far left and almost impossible to use properly with the right foot. Pedal location would be so far outside of the standard spacing and location there would be a ton of pedal mishaps with new drivers and lawsuits to follow.

There isn’t room to put a dead pedal to the right because of the center console and crash safety.

The solution is to cross your legs, or learn to rest your right foot on the accelerator lightly in cruise control, or on the floor right below the pedal. The Mach-E is no different than any other car in that regard.
