I have the same opinion for places that get below freezing. The heat here can be unbearable at times but it usually is for just a few hours per day for a couple months per year. The rest of the time is pretty nice.
Eh - much easier to get warm that it is to get cool. You can always add layers - but you can only take so many off.

plus the "vegan leather" on skin is problematic, especially without ventilated seats.

At only 100F, it will be fine to park with A/C running.

At 113F, the cooling fans are now unable to keep the HVB cool while parked or in heavy stop and go traffic and system temps will surpass 135F and then the cabin cooling begins to suffer. If it gets that hot then the car needs to be driven over 45 mph to generate enough air flow to cool down the systems.
Is this true for ICE cars as well that they won't cool well at a stop in 113F temps?

For passenger vehicles, yes. However, last summer the MME handled those sort of temps just fine.....even in stop and go traffic. Something changed, not sure what, probably software is my guess. I think maybe the max compressor and/or cooling fan rpm was lowered via one of the software updates. No way of knowing for certain though because I didn't capture a data record last summer. Best I can do is go from memory and the highest temp reading I remember seeing on the Sync screen was 133F and that was in late July (hottest part of the summer out here...).

A couple of weeks ago I saw 142F and last weekend I saw 138F a few times. It really isn't that hot out here yet either. Well, it's hot.....but not July hot. I don't think it is a good sign to be seeing such high temp readings so early in the summer.

I think the ventilated seats would be appreciated in humid climates. It is so dry out here that my seats feel cool to the touch as long as I remote start for a few minutes prior to getting in the car. If not, then it's still not an unpleasant thing. I have ventilated seats in my SL and I never use it, just not necessary here. I guess that might be because it's so dry out here?

Perhaps. I REALLY dislike the cold though. Wisconsin and those places around the Great Lakes like Buffalo are really hard to deal with the winter weather. I have been there a few times and it was really horrible. Went right to the bone. I couldn't even feel my fingers or toes. Really felt horrible to me. I will take 105F or less in AZ very easily. Hardly even notice the heat at those temps. 105-110F is uncomfortable. 110-112F sucks. 113F and higher is brutal. Hide indoors for sure. :)
