Rust Protection Options / Experiances

Good day, everyone!

Since I finally got a build date for my car, I'm thinking about protection options. I've already talked to my PPF guy to get a quote, but I'm also considering getting my Mach E protected with either Krown or Fluid Film. I searched the form and only found one person who had it done.

So, fellow Mach E enthusiasts, have any of you had rust protection done on your Mach E? Which product did you go with? Did you use a shop? What was your experience like? Which parts of the car did you apply the product to? How much did you pay?

I look forward to hearing everyone's experiences.

Oh, and if you wonder why I'm even considering this, well, I live in the salt belt and I've seen what salt does to cars. If you have any doubt as to what these oil/wax based coatings can do, just ask Eric O.

Don't.

The bottom of the Mach-E is covered with a "diaper". Very little can get up there. The fenders are aluminum. No treatment company is going to know what they should or should not spray.

I'd also point out that new ICE vehicles don't need this either. I have lived in the salt belt my entire life. Big waste of money.
