I have been trying to contact SCE about my TOU plan. I want to make sure I am on the right plan for maximum savings. However, I have not been able to get anyone to talk to me about it. Last time I called during business hours, the recording said they would only talk to me about emergencies. I should go to their website to learn about rate plans (because that sure seems easy to understand.) Does anyone know how to get action out of SCE? Does anyone know which plan I should be on? My current plan is: TOUD-4-9PM. I am also on NEM. So, my account is reconciled once a year.

Thank you, KZ6e1e. When logged into my account, I received a notice that I didn't qualify to use the compare rate plan tool, citing that I had a change in plans within the last year (was when I activated my Solar system in January.) I was eventually able to find a rate comparison outside the tool. It would be beneficial to be on the TOU-D-PRIME plan. But, again, not able to get action from SCE. I will call them, again, tomorrow during regular business hours and post my results here.

I'm on TOU-D-PRIME here in the high desert - and the rates are crazy high. I hope you get better ones for your region...

I'm on TOU-D-T with SCE . . . not sure if it is still available or not. I have solar since early 2019. Not sure what the rates actually are since I haven't had to pay for any electricity since installation - only "delivery charges and non-bypassable charges (generally about $12 a month total)" since I am still hooked up to the grid. Really cheap to run my FE MME (free). Between that and my wife's PHEV, we haven't even bought gasoline in 5 months.

Called SCE today at 6:30PM // "TOU Rate Plans, call us at 1-866-743-1645"

SCE's Website for TOU Plan's has the best description and comparison of rates I could find. Of course, I didn't get to use the TOU comparison tool.

@PicassoPC shared a graphic from this page. (thanks!)

SCE's representative asked me when I bought the MME and asked for make and model. She reminded me to get a meter swap and promised the rate change on the following month's billing.

SUCCESS!
