Just installed the product on two screens. I didn’t do the radio on/off button. Pretty straight forward install. Looks good so far.

Agree. Don't know why anyone needs a screen protector for any of it, but whatever floats your boat.

Possibly so it doesn't get scratched when cleaning. Sneezing, coughing , life in general will eventually leave little spots on that screen.
