To be fair, Ford only promised an adapter if you placed a reservation. They estimated the ship date and never gave a delivery date. ?‍?

I was promised June delivery, and I'm order number 153xx ish, so they'll need to ship a lot more.

I am sure Ford updated deliveries based on some delivery promises but in the Jim Farley Yahoo interview he seemed only account for the first 10k or so.

Seems like 3000 were sent this week, I guess we wait and see if deliveries accelerate, stay steady, or drop off. The first scenario likely gets you an adapter this month, the second scenario gets you close, and of course a drop off means the June numbers are a large miss.

I think Ford has its act together pushing these out and only missed deliveries to Ford by Tesla can screw it up.

FWIW, I received the same email and checked my status. It's still June, just as it always has been for me. Order # in the 14,000 range. It would be bad practice to send that email midway through the same month of the estimated ship window and then not ship it in that window.

I'm not saying it's a guarantee that they'll make the window, just that it would be bad if they didn't make it after sending that email with ~2 weeks to go. It's making me optimistic.

Oh this is mostly in jest. I was originally May. Moved to June. It seems like Tesla hasn't been able to get Ford their adapters quick enough. They're doing their best. I just still want some free blue cruise years since we never got that update yet. ?

For what it’s worth, mine arrived two days before FedEx said it would…

Originally FedEx said it would arrive today (6/14) by 1pm but earlier today I saw it was updated to 8pm. Then a FedEx notice came in at 2:30p saying it was delivered. Which means I missed it for my trip by 21.5 hours. No worries though, I used the backup A2Z adapter that I ordered a month ago (just in the event that the official one got delayed - so glad I did) no less than 2 times yesterday and 7 times today to make my trip much more enjoyable than it would have been with just EA. I have 12 more days I'll be putting the A2Z to good use. The Ford/Tesla one will have to wait for the next trip.

7 out of 9 Superchargers gave 120+ kW but one was 36 kW and another was 83 kW. So Tesla isn't perfect either.

Anyone have a spare one they would want to part with? The previous owner of my MME already reserved the adapter for my VIN. I can see it on my account and it hasn't shipped yet, but Ford won't update the shipping address to send it to me.
