Seeking input taking a trip with an issue.

I have a Mach e select. Awd
I’ve Taken it to Florida from Vermont the past 2 years no issues
I have a 3rd road trip to Fla this month
However my car stopped excepting level1 and level 2 charging.Tho level 3 works fine.

Dealer says they need to replace The SOBDM
And the part will not arrive before my trip.

I was planning on going anyway as level 3 charging works fine and is all I use while traveling to Florida and back


Would you take the trip with no level 1 and 2

Correct, it will still DC charge with a failed SOBDM. However that could reduce the charge rate so charging stops take much longer. Up to you.

I didn’t think of that. Good to know. Looks like I may be postponing till it’s fixed.
