2023 Mustang Mach-E GT
Hello everyone, I have a 2023 Mach-E GT that gave me a pop up on the dash that I needed to service the vehicle soon. I also noticed that my power is down significantly, the ticks on the dash are about 3/4 of the way full. I checked both my phone app and the ford website and there are no codes given. The website says the vehicle is in excellent health. Also used an odb2 scanner to check for any codes and it did not give any.

Is there any way to check to see any other errors that the app or code readers aren't showing? My vin is 3FMTK4SE2PMA66575.

Thanks in advance for any help.

P0AA4 and P0D0F for negative contactor A stuck closed. You'll need a HVBJB replacement.

Generic OBD2 scanners don't work on EVs. You need one that supports manufacturer-specific parameters.

Thank you for the information! I'll look at getting a different code reader for the future.

Took the car into the shop today. When I pulled in and turned off the car the alert popped up in the app. The service center said it would probably take them a week to get it diagnosed and then a week or two to get it fixed. They didn't have any loaners, said they could put me on a list but the list was so long that the car would probably be fixed before a loaner was available. Only had the car for 4 months. Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come.

The HVBJB is known to be a weak link in cars produced before 11/2023. The good news is that you will be getting the newest version of the HVBJB, which is reportedly better than the two prior versions. I got mine replaced just under a year ago. I am working on breaking it so I can get the current one. ??

Thanks for some good news at least! Feels weird wishing for someone's car to break, but hope you get your current one soon too!

You STILL haven't broken the new one?
