It varied, but I mostly tried 69-71. The only way I could keep the cabin feel where I prefer it was to manually cycle the EHeat. There must be an easier way. I just haven't found it yet.
sounds like maybe e-heat is "over heating", which is a waste, because e-heat requires significant power.

I just got my MME last week. today it was only 30 degrees outside. I set my temp at 72 degrees. but the vent did not blow hot air. I turned the temp up to 80, yet the air out of the front vent is still not hot. not even warm. I basically relied on seat heater and steering wheel heater to get by.

Did I miss something? how do I get the vent to blow hot air?

hmm that does not sound right. Did you check in the Climate screen to make sure E-Heat is enabled? over a longer drive you shouldn't need it but that's how you get quicker heat using the resistive heating element. otherwise something might be not right. :(

As GoGo stated, make sure E-Heat is enabled. Also, did you make sure the vents are open? It seems that they ship from the factory with the vents closed.

I almost mentioned the closed vent thing (this got me at first even though I knew about it from here) but I read his post to say that he was feeling air just cold. but I may have read too far into it :)
