Setting up Alexa on 2025 Mach-e

I've attempted to set up Alexa on my vehicle several times. I get a QR code, which I scan, which opens a non-existent page (404 error). I use Alexa plus at home and like the capability. It would be nice to link my vehicle as a 'device'.

What am I doing wrong?

Just successfully did this on my new '25 - did not do it off the center screen - did it off the Fordpass App and it was clean.

Maybe you can tell me how to get the Plug and Charge QR off the center screen - when P&C is already set up and active. Ford never changes!

My Ford app simply ells me that Alexa built-in is Active, and doesn't allow me to modify anything. Perhaps it was set up before I acquired the vehicle (it was slightly used).

Ah, the manual method just worked for me. I went through that routine a couple of times and didn't work,--then magically everything clicked into place!

Hey, I see your reddy's logo. Do you work for the local electric company? I used to work for Wisconsin Energy. We had a group of engineers that called our selves: Reddy's right hand men. Good times.

That was my Dad... NYSEG, Power Engineer at one of the old Coal-fired Power Plants.
