Black looks fantastic with the lights on, especially.

However, it does look a bit bigger without the "slimming" effect in back where the downswept body color catches your eye below the contrasting black roof line.

Yeah. I know what you mean. For a while, I'd been going back and forth on black for that very reason, since I have a black on order.

However, by now I've decided that it doesn't matter enough to me to make a difference.

In direct sunlight I think the effect is still pretty strongly there. Not as much as on the bright colors, mind you, but it's there.

Their lights progress in the logical direction — growing from inside towards the outside.

the demos I saw on the US tour had the lights start full and fade disappearing from inside then outward. I find that very confusing. I hope this is configurable.

Totally agree on the stupidity of regulations not allowing us to have better safer headlights.
