Just wanted to give an update on my experience so far with my Pony, as I cross 2000 miles.
Amazing experience till date; its a driving pleasure for me. Feel while driving, roadgrip, and overall handling is perfect to my liking. Have been using single peddle drive, and am convinced that it should be the standard across any car. ("car should move when I want it to move")
Did couple of long (150miles each way) trips with no issues; Guessometer seems to be quite accurate so far -within +/-5miles. Getting around 267miles at 90% (so it would be ~294m at 100%).
- Some minor issues like the sync keeps disconnecting (in rare cases when I use FordNav) could be in relation to my Samsung Galaxy blue tooth issue (as I am always on Android Auto). It seems to be quite stable on Apple carplay.
- Blueshield is quite good, and I know Ford keeps working on it. One thing that was annoying is that it auto-resets to new speed limit whenever speed limit changes; will have to manually override it. Most of the highways keep alternating between 65 and 55, and when I set it for say 72, and if the limit changes to 55, it automatically resets to 55 - quite annoying as almost nobody else in a busy highway care! It should just warn the driver, so that I can adjust it if I want to.
-Charging, while on the road is iffy as most of the L3 chargers are occupied or not working. May have to do a plan for longer trips ?
