Should I drive?

I am on a road trip at the boarder of MT and ND and have these warnings. I am in between ford dealerships. The one ford wants to send it to is 4 months backed up on repairs from what the tow company says. I could drive back roads for 30 miles and get into range of the other dealership for towing but don’t know if I should.

If you got the Service Vehicle Soon (SVS) error, you should be able to drive the car for quite a distance. If you have the SVS error, you can likely drive it to the dealer of your choice without getting stranded. If you got Stop Safely Now, you should definitely get it towed. ??

The DTC you posted is definitely an HVBJB error. If the dealer farther away can get you in right away, it should be less than a week to order and receive the parts, then do the repair. I have heard of 2 day turn-arounds for those lucky people who found good dealers that could service them immediately. ??

I would drive it to the dealer that can do the repair the soonest. Should be okay to drive, it will just charge very slow and power is very limited.

Fast charging will be at a maxof around 41kW, maybe 47 sometimes. Cost us 14 hours on a trip.

When our HVBJB went bad, our 12v battery drained itself overnight since it kept many of the 12v systems active. Dealer told me it was ok to drive it to the shop but it would continue to drain the 12v battery if it remained stuck. Jumped the battery and drove it to the dealer.

Hopefully, they can get the part soon. It took 6 weeks to get the part back in the spring.

You have burned thru 2 HVBJB's in the past 6 months?

How long were you parked at the dealer this time?

I had SVS recently, and the error in ODBII is different, so most likely it was the Stop Safely Now...
