I just compared window stickers and one thing that is odd that is left off is windshield de-icer? Otherwise with the addition of blue cruise and pano roof nothing else sticks out?

Any issues with ground clearance that worries me I will have snow to deal with as well at times.
The ground clearance difference between the Premium and GT is about 0.5". Only you can say if that's likely to be meaningful to you in the snow. My GT have never scraped anything, anywhere (though I've had it for less than two months). My Prius used to scrap all over the place. I live in San Francisco on a 25% grade hill with sharp transitions at the top and bottom of the hill (and even sharper at the top of the 29% grade the next street over). I've not had any issues with any of these - even with three sizable adults in the car...

Regarding the windshield de-icer, there is definitely a windshield defroster setting in the HVAC system, though I've not been in snowy weather yet to test it. There is a wiper heater too - it's activated with he rear winder defroster, as I recall.

Go get the GT!

I vote the GT mainly in part because I hate ADM and if you’re going to spend more money I think you should have something to show for it. In this case the cooler looking front end and more power would justify the price difference to me over a premium with a $5k markup.

Thanks everyone. Now lets see if the dealer honors their price tomorrow!

Unfortunately the deal fell through. Back to hunting for a good dealer.

The GT-PE has the bigger brakes. The Premium and the GT have the same brakes other than the painted calipers. Ford’s original slicks were either wrong or Ford decided to decontent the GT after they published specs and all of those marketing slicks. ??
That's not correct. The GT and the GTPE have the same brake and rotor setup. The only difference is the GTPE has Brembo stenciled on them

Actually this ended up being another item to add to the long list of Ford marketing one thing and delivering another ,which sums up the GT/GTPE in general :(.

If you look at the press it states that they are the same however the final vehicle and the actual part numbers however tell the real story which is only the GTPE got the different brake setup.

As buzznwood mentioned, the GTPE brakes are larger. It’s been measured by forum members and confirmed. More than just a sticker.

They measured a 21 or a 22 GT? 22 GT is the same as GTPE

21.

And the brakes on a 2022 won’t be any different. There was not brake change between model years. Unless they ran out of parts and in secret started putting larger brakes on the GT (stranger things have happened, have you seen the Puma puddle lamp thread?), then you have the smaller brakes. Just check the part numbers.

Here’s a long thread about it:

Ford’s published information about the brakes on the GT for the most part is wrong. i have seen one place where they had it correct for 2022, but for the most part it’s a direct parrot of the incorrect information they have on the GT’s brakes is incorrect. @Ford Motor Company needs to get their marketing folks on the ball and have them proofread and fix. ???

I opted for the GT. The addition torque, horsepower, interior and styling was the reason to spend the extra money. No regrets on my decision. Regardless on what you decide, this is an awesome vehicle.
