Sirius songs skip in some channels

This has happened in various channels, but I cite a recent occurrence with the U2 channel.
I tuned to the channel and heard the very beginning of the annoying "With or Without you". Using the steering wheel controls, I checked the next 2 or 3 presets, and got back to the U2 channel within...13 seconds. The U2 song was well into the first chorus or further ahead.
If the satellite reception is live, why did the song jump in such a short amount of time?

I'm a technical person so I can understand that glitches and delays can happen, but it has happened quite a lot with this car and never happened with my old Rogue.

When you tune to a channel I believe it sometimes starts the current song from the beginning. You can also rewind channels yourself to restart a song, or skip back through the songs that played earlier. This only works if the car has been on, so won't happen if you've just started the car.

Ken, I may have found the culprit.
In the sirius menu is a slider button called Play Start or something like that. Tune start. I turned it off and haven't heard that skipping of songs. Thus far.
