Sketch app question.

I’ve been playing with the sketch app. My question is, how do I change the background color. I see other sketch items that have a black background. Mine is white and I want to change it. Making a dog in car sign.

? I didn’t think about that, thought there might be a way to just make the background a certain color. Makes sense, thanks.
