Does anyone know what the wires behind the small door in the front bumper to the left of the license plate do? I checked them with a VOM and no voltage. I was expecting to see 12 Volts DC, ( 0 VDC). I thought it was for charging the 12 volt battery without having to tear the interior of the Frunk out? Guess Not? HELP?

Note: I was glad to see it had no voltage since the ends of the wires are not insulated, that bugged the heck out of me, exposed wires like that. Not something I would design? I must be missing something............

They only activate the frunk release when 12V- is applied to them. They have no live voltage.
