Sunday I went from Tulsa to Oklahoma City. Left home with 90% charge because pushing the charge to 100% didn't work, even though the app showed it was charging again.

I had plenty of charge to get to OKC, and drive around a bit. When I went to go home, I stopped at one of our local charging network stations and was getting really poor speeds. I just waited about 10% charge and went on to the next charger.
This station on my receipt shows a max power output of 50kwh. This station is a 150kwh station as I've charged here before and hit 142kw multiple times.

My next stop was at an EA station. This site had 4 terminals, and tried 3 of the 4. All 3 wouldn't go over 40kwh. The 3rd I finally tried to use Plug & Charge and got the same result. With plug and charge it actually started at 20kwh, then hit 108kwh, then dropped back to 32kwh. And then Ford charged me $0.04 for using my free kwh.

I got enough power to get home here and took off. On my way I realized it was later than I planned and needed to go to the grocery store so I stopped in town to another Francis charger to charge while I shopped. And again, was getting very poor speeds.

I haven't seen charging speed issues like this since the day I took delivery of my car. That day the temps outside were basically zero outside. Sunday I believe the temp was in the mid 80's so not super hot out. The first charge stop was before getting on the highway so nothing should have been heated up from driving. I used OBD to check temps and the car was reporting the coolant temps were like 58 degrees. It really appeared that the car was telling the stations it was only capable of like 40kwh. EA only charged me at $0.16/min because the car reported such a low speed.

This just has to get more reliable to go mainstream. Seems we still have a ways to go for the infrastructure to work right.
