Solved: Trouble adding a charging location

Update: as mentioned below, it wasn’t fully engaged in the receptacle. It now works. Thanks for the responses!

I am visiting a friend and trying to use their 120V receptacle and my Ford charging cable but can’t add the location so the charge is not not initiating. When I try to add it it just shows a prior location but not this one. Any tricks to getting this work? I tried searching here but to no avail.

Has the L1 adapter ever worked for you? Is it fully inserted? Can take quite a lot of elbow grease to get it to click into the brick.

Updated my original post—I had to push it in more into to the 120V receptacle. First time using it so not used to it.
