The other day, after I plugged my Mach-E into my Ford Connected Charging Station, I got a charging error in FordPass, and the dashboard showed the message: "Charge Station Not Detected."
The charge station status light was blue (which should mean it's working fine). I tried a bunch of stuff: flipping the breaker to reset the station, calling Ford. I verified that it wasn't a problem with the car by bringing the MME to a nearby charger, which worked perfectly.
I opened the Charge Station screen from the Energy tab of FordPass and saw that the charger was disconnected. I did a fresh setup of the charger with the "Ford Charge Station Setup" app and saw that it needed new Wi-Fi settings - my ISP had recently changed my home wireless network, and the charger had lost its connection. I reconnected it to wi-fi. Charging didn't work right away, but after leaving it overnight and trying it again, it worked perfectly and has continued to do so.
Just sharing this here because nothing came up when I searched the forum for "Charge Station Not Detected". If you get this message, and you have a Ford Connected Charge Station, make sure it's connected to wifi, then give it a few hours.
