Currently on software update ECG-24.2.4.10.2

Issue description: Normally, the speedometer reading should reflect your ground speed in real-time by refreshing the reading multiple times a second. However, the issue I'm experiencing right now results in the speedometer reading significantly lagging behind my real-time speed.

Further details:
  • First noticed the issue a few days ago
  • Issue started while I was driving - specifically, making a turn
    • Unsure if related, but while I was making the turn that coincided with the issue starting, I think I heard and felt something in front of the car. Not like I hit something, but like something dislodged or hit under the front area of the car. It was subtle, though; nothing that would make you go "holy crap, what was that?!
  • No visible damage to front of car, though I haven't done a thorough check
  • Issue has never occurred prior to this
  • Issue is persistent and hasn't gone away since it started
  • Restarting Ford SYNC via volume down + next track doesn't fix issue

Anyone got ideas on how to fix this?

Hi there! If you send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info, I can look into your concerns on my end,

I have also recently started to experience this, is there any known fix for this? Last update received was ECG-24.2.4.10.1

I never actually did it anything specific to try to fix it, it eventually just resolved itself in my case. When Ford did reach out to me via DM, they had advised I visit a dealership to continue troubleshooting.

Hmmm ok, hopefully it fixes itself sooner rather than later
