Some 2021 Mustang Mach-E/F-150/Edge/Nautilus vehicles equipped with SYNC Gen 4 may experience a USB Error 0 being displayed in the infotainment screen during Programmable Module Installation (PMI) on the replacement accessory protocol interface module (APIM) ordered on 01-Jan-2022 and through 13-Apr-2022. This maybe due to a software issue with the replacement APIM. Order another APIM from Ford Component Sales (FCS). Service stock has been corrected.

Huh, at least they were able to correct the service stock. Sounds like they can salvage the ones presenting the symptom by overwriting the firmware. ??

Well, they source these from elsewhere with the firmware already installed. So I'd say Ford and its customers cannot catch a break with these vendors dropping the ball.
