I can't seem to find a post about this particular issue I am having in my Mach-E. So when the steering wheel is slightly moved as well as actually making a steering adjustment or turning in general, it will make an audible squeak noise. It is coming from inside the car somewhere between the steering wheel to where it connects down below. I have yet to tear into anything yet, but I have seen videos on youtube about other cars that have the issue and they pull off a panel etc., to access the column and apply WD40 and it stops.

Mine is similar where it sounds like something is rubbing whether it's a rubber seal etc. Has anyone else experienced this on their Mach-E? Thoughts to a possible fix?

Thanks.

Hi there! If you'd like to, go ahead and send us a private message with your VIN and dealer info and I’ll look into this squeak concern. Thanks!

There have been a few reports about steering shaft bearings making noise. Just have a dealer do warranty service to fix it. ??

I did listen closer to it this morning thinking it would be in the lower part of the shaft behind the pedals, but it is coming from inside or very near to the steering wheel itself. I will have a dealer look at it. I appreciate the help.
