I've been so confused looking at window stickers at various Dealerships. For example. There is a GT at one dealership showing an MSRP of $59,995. Options include: 245/45R20 A/S BSW TIRES ($300), GT PERFORMANCE EDITION ($5,000), Mobile Power Cord ($500).

Then there's a sticker from another Dealer for a GT showing same base MSRP, but options are 245/45R20 A/S BSW TIRES (NO CHARGE), RAPID RED MET TINTED CC ($495), BLUECRUISE 1.3 (3-YEARS INCL) ($2,100), Mobile Power Cord ($500).

So one dealer is charging for the BSW tires, one is not. One is charging for Bluecruise, one is not. I've also seen stickers on new vehicles that do not show a charge for the mobile power cord. I can't figure out what is going on except maybe some deception. Every new Mach-e should come with a cord and shouldn't be $500 charge, no? The bluecruise should come with the vehicle and not be a $2,100 added option since you can sign up or cancel anytime.

The tires are different for a Performance Edition GT (summer only) vs. a regular GT (all seasons).

The mobile charging EVSE and BlueCruise are both optional and additional charges.

For 23.5 Mach-E's you have to order/select the optional mobile EVSE for $500, it's not included anymore.

For BlueCruise you can either do $2,100 upfront for 3 years OR you get BC for no charge on a 90-day trial. After the 90-day free trial you can activate BC for $800 per year or $75 per month. If you do BC for $2,100/3 years upfront you cannot cancel it for a refund.

Oh. Now it's crystal clear. Why would they change it all up halfway through a year?

I bought my '23 and was not charged for the 3 years of BC that came "included". My MSRP was lower than the base MSRP at various other dealerships, which all ranged on the same Premium trim level from $49,995 up to $55,995 IIRC.

Prior to the 2023.5 builds, the EVSE and BlueCruise were included in the pricing. For the newer cars, both are optional. Whether or not these are included depends on the build date of the vehicle. I believe all newer cars come with a BC 90-day free trial.

As @hybrid2bev noted, the standard tires on the GTPE are summer tires, though if you were to build your own GTPE on Ford's website you can get the all-season tires for no additional cost. Not sure why the dealer is charging extra for those.

I encourage you to go to Ford's website and price out the vehicles that are on the dealer's lot - this will let you know what the real MSRP is, then you can decide how to handle the dealer's pricing. Remember that dealers can charge what they want for the cars, but inventories are high and demand is low so you should be able to find a good deal somewhere even if not at your local dealer.

23.5 MME's are shipping with BC 1.3 from the factory.

OR Ford does what Ford does. It's not unusual for the Job 2 of a model year to have differences vs. the Job 1 builds.

......
Yes BC 1.3 on Job 2, and a lot of confusion between the Job 1 and Job 2 '23 MME out there.

It's always tough to explain Job 2 when you have a Job 1.

Can someone explain why the window stickers MSRP on the GTs I am looking at still show $63,995 with PE being $6k? Is that truly the MSRP for those vehicles or are dealers just trying to make a few extra thousands.

The performance edition is a additional package on top of the base MSRP GT.

Exactly. I’ve seen MSRP on the stickers jump all over the place when I was shopping around for my premium.

The sticker prices may differ based on if they're from the first half of the year, before Ford announced price changes in May that itemized out the charging cable and BlueCruise. You will see higher prices on those cars, but they will have 3 years of BlueCruise rather than a 90 day trial. Depending on order date, it also may be higher sticker price if they were ordered before the January price drops, in which case they should qualify for some discounts, to reflect that price drop.

Right but the current prices are $59,995 and $5k?
Some dealers either thru ignorance or knowingly will keep the higher window sticker on their vehicles hoping that a customer will pay the higher price.

Transparent dealers will change out the window stickers to match current pricing.

Tesla started charging for their mobile chargers some time ago and many other manufacturers have followed suit. $500 though seems pretty expensive for one.

Dealers can’t change the actual window sticker.
