I just took position of a Select, comfort/Technology, SR a couple of weeks ago. It was built June 20. I haven't found anything specific when searching the forum but have the updates or the software installed in my car eliminated the problem of sudden acceleration from a stop as referenced from time to time?

Your car is too new to have that problem (which only affect a tiny number of Mach-E's). Your 5/30 build week means you have the latest powertrain software and HVBJB so you don't have to worry about any recalls.

I have experienced sudden acceleration due to user error, not a system glitch.

While using intelligent cruise control on the interstate (not BC, because I have a job 1 2021 and Ford still can't get me past 2.7.4 with more OTAs ?) I have found myself following a slower driver in the right lane, waiting for my exit to come up. Once the exit ramp comes up I move over to take it only to have forgotten that my intelligent cruise was set much higher. My car doesn't see anyone in front of me or a changed speed limit so it accelerates to as high as 77 mph (70 speed limit +7) when most of ramps require 40mph or lower.

Gotta be paying attention.

I think "sudden acceleration" is primarily caused by a poorly tuned right foot.

Sudden accretion, on the other hand, can be caused by engaging in 4th grade taunts.
The OP is referencing recall 22S29, which only affected 464 vehicles. We don't need to freak out people here, this is an old recall and you would have gotten the letter about it months ago if it affected you.

I am aware- hence the jest(s), treating the concern (already addressed by you) with the levity it required.

I was stuck at 2.7.4 also since June and found out it was because the next update failed back in June. Once that happens you don't get any more updates, you have to go to the dealer and let them do it. I just got mine back, they did all the pending updates and it took 3 days. Oddly enough I found this thread because after getting it back my car was doing crazy speed jumps, I guess the techs turned on the speed limit monitoring thing and set it to 20 so I thought the car was possessed. It had always been set to 0 or turned off because I didn't even know that was a thing.

I own a 2022 MME California Route-1 and it was involved in an accident caused by this "sudden acceleration". This while on a full stop, with the foot on the break pedal and enough room between the car in front. The other driver acknowledged this to the officer taking a report, that he saw our car was a good distance from him and thought that someone hit my car from behind causing my car to hit his. The car did not stop there. After the initial hit, my car proceeded to hit his again. As if the acceleration had enough momentum to hit 2 times before stopping. The front passenger in my car hit the dash on the first impact. Airbags never deployed nor FordPass never sent an alert of an accident.

Is this not terrible? The police added that he seen this same accident happened with another MME. But this is not as terrible as the following conversations with FORD. WE wanted to follow-up with them as we now don't feel safe to drive the car as this may happen again and hurt a pedestrian or worst. They won't "buy-back" the car because we had not reported this happen before. What? They pretend it happens more than once before it's an issue. They did said to have it towed to the nearest Ford Dealer for diagnostic. So I'm without a car 6 days because rental is not approved until after the diagnostic. More to come...
