My wife and I made side window shades the other day, and they work great.
This is a super simple, half hour project that anyone should be able to do.

I bought this 2' x 25' reflective polyethylene insulation roll on Amazon, and it has been enough to do all the windows on a Yukon XL, a Jeep Grand Cherokee and now the MME:

We used some craft paper big enough for the windows, and I traced the outline from the inside with the window rolled down while my wife held it up. Use a marker, not a pencil, as the pencil might break through the paper (don't bother asking how I know...)
Cut out the paper, then check the fit from the inside with the window rolled up. Cut off any excess and make marks or notes where you might need it to be bigger to refine the shape. The MME windows are somewhat indented, so they work great to keep these shades in.
Use the paper template to trace the outline on the reflective polyethylene and cut them out.
Check the fit and refine more if needed.
I sewed a 1" webbing to finish the edge for the ones I made for my Yukon XL, but it was a major PITA and really not at all necessary, as this material is pretty tough and does not unravel.

I sent an image of the MME pony to my friend with a vinyl cutting machine to see if he can make me some stickers to dress them up, but you could do all kinds of things if you don't want plain silver.

If you like foil curtains so much, then it's better to buy them. Foil blinds are released for installation on windshields. They are always removable. Suckers are usually more than two. Note that the suction cups themselves are consumables – they are fixed in the grommets and can be dismantled. We advise you to choose frame curtains for the windshield, as they keep their shape perfectly and are used longer. You can use the site https://snapshades.com.au/ to explore the assortment. Perhaps there is something there that will suit you.

Of course you can buy them, my post was about saving a lot of money with a really easy DIY project that just about anyone can do. For windsheilds, I use nice custom fitted folding shades, as this stuff would be a PITA to put up and take down for that.
