I've started taking pics of my weird Center Screen issues. Here are 2 that I captured so far.

Picard would be proud:

Turned the car back on after I plugged it in on an impulse to check for 1.7.1 update. I think there should be less options for Engage and maybe one for each of the other modes.

Matrix:

On my drive home the other night my center screen freaked out. Looked like the matrix. After turning off, plugging in and coming back to it later it seems to reset to normal.

Should I bring it in for service or hope that 1.7.1 fixes it?

I would definitely report those to the dealer. If your car is over ~6 months old there's probably a Sync update as well that the dealer can install.

We call this Warp Speed drive mode. Highly desirable as long as roadways are completely cleared first.
