Probably already F'd up and should delete everything and start from scratch.

Both the Ford app, web site, and the MME has setup to profile. Problem is they are not in sync and tries to update the MME yet I already have a matching profile. I can't tell it its the "SAME" person. I can't override what is on the MME so I can only cancel. Then this keeps popping up at the center console when I interact with it.

Add more frustration, it was not the first time I had issues.

Initially did the setup on the MME.
Then when I setup the PAAK & Ford Pass App, it had be do it again here.
Then the next time I started the MME, it said I had a new profile.
Woundn't sync so I had to nuke the profile on MME and start again.
With the +250kWh email, decided to enable the Ford.com/connectedservice
It also force me to setup a profile (this time allow me to select a profile pict...not that it did anything)
Back to MME today and it try to sync and same crap-o-la.

&^&$$%% dumbarse software guys, not fricken rocket science. Fresh grads working for me can do a better job. Must assume users doing things in the order other than what you are thinking.

what profile are you setting up on the ford website and the app? The profiles in MME cannot be setup on the ford website nor in the fordpass app - although fordpass will recognize PAAK etc after its setup in the MME. You cant do it the other way. So its not clear what you are syncing in profiles. When you set up profiles in MME, you have indicate which phone and fob you plan to associate with that profile.

I am not purposely trying to setup my profile via the site/ford app. As part of setting up the connected services, I was prompted to enter those information. Then in the MME, I get this. It def doesn't work correctly when profile is done in the app/ford.com but looking a the screen shot below, it would seem that Ford has the intention of having it work like that.

Interesting - seeing this first time. I am sure you have tried delete button.

This my be due to the remote setup stuff that showed up on fordpass ? not sure..i may have not seen this as I deleted the VIN from fordpass before adding back by scanning on the vehicle.

Interesting that there's a delete option.

I had set up a profile using remote setup, but when first driving the car, it didn't download, so I created a profile in the car. I was then continually prompted by this message, so I had to assign my profile to another of the preset/memory buttons first, before I could delete the duplicate.

Did you delete the profile on the MME via the settings or the middle Delete button?

I had to delete via the settings - I didn't have the option to delete. IF I did I would have deleted the remote setup profile.

There were some other syncing oddities - I had configured a home and work address via remote setup... But the work address was mapped to my "Home" setting for the built-in Navigation. Had to find a way to delete that, and reassign Home to a new address (which is not the same apparently as favoriting or saving an address and calling it "Home").
