This message showed up immediately as I started the car in the morning (not in accessory mode).

Though the departure time had just finished. Got notice in FP that cabin temp was ready. Walk out to car and unplug it. Hop in and start it up...see this screen immediately. Was like this for a few seconds then Sync started up like normal. Just weird.
You misunderstood what I said. I'm not saying the vehicle is in accessory mode. I'm saying it looks like (the vehicle thinks it was, and it timed out). In other words it looks like a sync bug, rather than a battery issue. The fact that it happened immediately after starting the car after preconditioning likely confirms this as an old state that the vehicle was reacting to that is stuck in memory rather than the current state of just starting up the vehicle.

I say that because it looks like a normal shutdown of the infotainment, as if you are just sitting there for 15 min or whatever after turning off the vehicle and the system infotainment shutds down to conserve the low voltage battery when the vehicle is not running.

As far as I have figured out this message is just some leftover stuff from ICE. It appears after a specific numer of minutes of running the media screen without having the "engine running", and will sometimes appear because the media system has started up for some reason (updates, scheduled maintenance, etc). I had it on Sync 3 often on my previous ICE car, it appears to be the exact same thing.
For me the message only appears when turning the car on, then disappears after 10-15 seconds when it finally boots up normally.

Bear in mind that MME has much smaller 12V battery than gas cars.

The SOC of the 12V battery can be checked with obd2 dongle, using Car Scanner Elm Obd2 app. You will see if your battery cannot maintain SOC due to many short trips as they claim, because it will happen even with the new battery.

You can even check on a smartphone whether disconnecting the dashcam for a few days would help in keeping the battery at 90% SOC, which is the optimal level in MME.
Is there any particular obd2 dongle you would recommend?

I went safe with iCar Vgate PRO (works on ios and android). Even if I forget to remove it after trip, it turns off after a while.

Cheap obd2 dongles remain always on and may drain the 12v battery if left overnight.
