I have a Wallbox charger with a schedule (12a-6a on weekdays). I plug the mach-e in, and it sits on waiting for charging state until midnight - no surprises.
Few times, I wanted to charge to 100%. I plug in the car, and in fordpass (latest version, on Android) on home screen slide target charge to 100%. It asks me if i want to change it just this time, i click yes.

100% is showing on the app home screen. At midnight, charging starts, but only goes up to 90%, not honoring one time charge. I usually only notice it in the morning, and can allow wallbox to start charging off schedule and hit start charge on the fordpass, and then it charges to 100%

Does anyone use this feature? Does it work as expected for anyone?

Edit: maybe next time I'll hit start charge (even though Wallbox won't allow it) in the evening. Wonder if that is needed to 'confirm' one time charge.

Seems like the last time I used that, it did the opposite. It DID charge to 100% but the it didn’t revert back to 90% for the next charge.

I have a Charge Point EVSE, and while it does allow for scheduling, I handle all that on the car side via the Ford app. I am able to bump from the normal 80% target to 100% with no issues.

FWIW:

Have a Juice Box 40......but it's the Ford App that does allow me to set 100% as "one-time event" (slide from 85 to 100% and click "save").

Have done this 3 or 4 times since August. I always check to verify, and have found it did not go to 100 on at last 1 occasion. Felt it was likely my error because repeat did set to 100. Target has always returned to routine setting after charging to 100%.

Peace/Out

Just tried again last night. Set target charge to 100%, selected one time. Fordpass (v5.8) reflected the change. I hit start for good measure (knowing that wallbox won't let it actually charge till midnight). Closed & re-opened the app to confirm that target charge is set to 100% - it was. Woke up in the morning with 90%, which is the normal setting. :/

Still happening on the latest version of fordpass. I'm wondering if there's a one time target charge 'timeout'. If the car doesn't start charging after a certain time (even though it's plugged in and waiting for charge), one time charge target expires? I guess i can call Ford ev support, and maybe they can log a complaint.

The one time feature works for me every time, but I only use it when initiating manually for immediate start through FordPass. I’ve never tried to use it when wanting a delayed start using an external (WallBox in this case) delay. I think this may be your problem. I just calculate how much time will be needed to charge to 100% from the current state of charge, usually 80 or 90%, and then set myself an alarm and start my one time 100% charge to be done 10 minutes before my planned departure time. I also separately set a departure time if I want my battery to be warmed before I depart.

You may need to make a choice between using the “smart” features of the WallBox OR the “smart” features provided by Ford instead of trying to use both at the same time. Both of my home EVSE’s are “dumb” and the car’s scheduler works great for me.
