I watched an EV owner calmly stab the four tires of the ICE vehicle that was in a charging spot last year. The kicker was that there were plenty of open spots other than the one who was iced, so the idiocy can run both ways. If you are the person who does not wait in his car while charging, then, as Willie Scott sang, "Anything Goes"..

I mean, that is a gross (and highly illegal) over-reaction but I would bet that guy won't park in an EV spot again!

I love getting stuff for free - free is a great price. However, with the growing use of EVs and the Tesla DC adapter's $230 replacement cost, plus its handy small size and its potential to walk away in vast parking lots especially after dark, I fabricated this locking plate, powder-coated orange, as a theft deterrent.

I made a similar lock by 3D printing 2 pieces that lock together.
