Tesla Charger Adapter

I just purchased mach e, and Ford is offering a free adapter. Though app doesn't work, website doesn't work, can't order it, ford support can help with this....so I am assuming I can just purchase an adapter myself through amazon? Though I don't know what kind I need for my 2023 mach e for the adapter to be able to goto the tesla superchargers? Please help, thanks in advance.

Did you just purchase, as in a few days? Is PaaK and all of your Ford accounts setup? Give it a bit until all of that is working, Blue Oval, connected Nav, Blue Cruise, then once everything is going you should be able to reserve your adapter. Some of this takes a few days.

Don't just order any Amazon adapter. Basically there are two real options, A2Z or Lectron and neither are selling on Amazon yet. We have tested both.

Hello, I too have been unable to order the adapter. I purchased 2 weeks ago and ended up purchasing the A2Z adapter since I watched Patrick's mach e vlog on it and I know that will work for the time being. Hopefully, my account will be updated soon and I can order the official adapter to use but at this rate won't receive it till the end of the year.

When I picked up the GTP, the dealer's tech person walked me through all the setup for Ford's Connective services (I knew most of it already but it was refreshing to have a Ford dealer have such a person working for them) and the Adapter order popped up in the FordPass app. Not sure why you still cannot order it. This was back on March 8th and my ETA was September. Reason I ordered an A2Z one which will be delivered next week. I ordered it on March 12th.

I just saw this piece on the Lectron website. Say it isn't so. I registered on 3/1/24 and was in the 28,000+ level and told to expect delivery in August. Is Ford really limiting the number it will dispense for free? Is that what they meant by "eligible"? What number have they reached by now?

Ford has opened registration for free NACS adapters until July 1st for the first 15,000 customers in the US and Canada. Afterward, the adapter will retail for $230, plus taxes and shipping. However, some users have been reporting an overwhelming number of registrants just within a day of Ford’s announcement.

Any Ford EV owner is eligible for a free Adapter if they order it from Ford by June 30th. When announced on February 29th, a lot of owners registered the first few days and ETA for delivery which started in April, quickly went into May and beyond. When I registered on March 8th, my ETA given was September. I would imagine by June 30th, it might be in early 2025 before Ford ships.
