Nice. Still unsure as to why an OEM spec replacement couldnā€™t be sourced. Tesla uses Brembo fixed front calipers and Iā€™m sure those rear sliding calipers are TRW or PBR or similar. Pads and rotors are available every where too. Tesla service should have definitely figured that out. Especially in a case as egregious as this one. What a joke.

Having a company owned service center means it's a cost center that loses money when doing warranty. Probably why they have such long wait times, they don't account for manpower to do them quickly, as it would cost more money.

In the end, buy from a company you trust. Even if they muck it up, you did the best you could to save yourself the trouble.

I'd never buy from a company that was so pressed for space that they ran an assembly line in a tent text to the plant. This kind of mind set permeates the entire company.

The final few minutes in this 3 year old interview says a LOT.
