When playing music from my (Android) phone, I get a warning message, "The active media player on the connected device does not support the browse feature" and I cannot (like the warning says) see a list of my music files on the display. The current song will play, and I can skip one-by-one forwards and backwards through songs from the center display controls, but I cannot see my music library list.

Bluetooth or USB connection seems to make no difference.

What music media apps (other than AndroidAuto which I don't want) "support the browse feature" ?

Actually, I realized this is a time-waster when you can just put your music on an USB key drive. I'm making this too difficult.

Is this happening with Android Auto?

I see this is a few months old but seems unsolved? My Apple devices (13 and 14 iPhones) do the same. Apple CarPlay is different and appears same as my explorer but wife prefers non CarPlay and streams from her library playlist.
