I immediately thought this thread must be the long-awaited sequel to "The Ciderhouse Rules."

Happy Friday! After months of trying PaaK and being extremally frustrated with its reliability and out right embarrassment, Ford has kicked in a second fob. I have a job 1 build March/April. It's been to the dealer four times, all for PaaK troubleshooting/updates and the brake TSB. Over those four visits dealer had MME over ten days. Never finding anything wrong with PaaK. haha I even showed them videos. Several advisors commented the MME has lots of software issues, but each visit ended with PaaK is working as designed (not very well IMO).

I really want PaaK to be reliable as it’s a great feature if it worked nearly 100% of the time. For me it’s probably around 70% reliable but the backup code often does not appear which can lead to being disabled for ~10 frustrating/embarrassing minutes. I don't carry any keys so not having a fob would be perfect if PaaK was reliable. I did finally put my fob in a faraday bag so I don’t get stranded by PaaK.

It has taken some persistence and it was not about the money, it was principle. Pease don't ask or DM me for the direct contact information of the Ford rep. It was whining on this forum that initiated the help. Calls to the dealer and to several different Ford departments got me know were. I hope one day Ford gives all job 1 cars a second fob, it’s the right thing to do. I'm hopeful OTA updates get better as it’s been a difficult nine months of bugs and slow fixes. Ok, where the hell is BC. lol
