The tech finally failed me..

Ok @Ford Motor Company, for the first time ever a software glitch made my car a bit unsafe to drive…

when I got into my car today and turned it on, the small screen seemed to be super zoomed in. The range blue bar took up most of the screen (the only plus of this was the little image of the car was finally gone). As I was driving it didn’t correct itself and because it was so zoomed in I could not see how fast I was driving. I switched from engaged to unbridled to see if the change would kick it back to normal, but no dice. I had to wait till I got to a red light and turn off and back on my car.. that fixed it…

so strange, had this happened to anyone else?

Can you try switching the instrument cluster display between dark and light mode? This is an option in settings.

I haven't seen the specific thing you're reporting but I occasionally have the speedometer and DTE text showing in dull gray instead of bright white (I use dark mode) and this is the only way I've found to correct it while driving.

Rebooting sync might have helped as well. Sounds like a transitory glitch.
