I just got this email from Ford. I click on Get Instructions, login and then nothing. No instructions and I don't see any issues with the order?? Anyone know why I may have receive this?

Was it a ford website? Did you click the link or go to Ford then sign in? Maybe it’s desperate people phishing like all those Amazon and Apple emails ? another thought is if you log in from your phone there’s no info but computer it’s there.?

This is a guess, but I'd bet the issue is your chosen dealer hasn't accepted the order yet. Give them a call and chat with the sales manager or internet sales guy.

As far as I know, all updates to your order need to be done by the dealer. You can only change account info like address, phone etc...But if you didn't sign a form, submit drivers license etc...Ford will not accept the order. They are requiring all dealers have provide this to show Ford it's a real order and not for their personal stock. Seems to be an issue and why some dealers are so quick to get you to cancel your order.

I reached out to the dealer via email this morning. So we will see if they know what the email is all about. I was in contact with the dealer when I placed the order online and all my contact information is correct. So hopefully I hear back today from them to get this resolved.

A page that LOOKS like the Ford account login page still may be a phishing scheme. I would advise changing your password just to be safe.

Heard back from the dealership this morning. All is good with the order, she sent me the order summary as well. I'll change my Ford login password, just in case.

TBH Just look at the headers to see if is was phishing, what they going to do with your ford login? check in on your order to see when it is built and shipped to steal it? or take your ford points?
